Interactive Programs
We offer to groups a tailored selection of “flash visit” interactive programs designed to give children and all who want to experience a sampling of life in the good ol’ days. Interactive programs are available Monday through Friday between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Choose one activity for a short visit or extend your stay by choosing two or three activities.

$4 + GST / child (for 1 activity).
Several activities can be combined for an additional $1.00 + GST / person for each additional program.
Voyageur Games & Historic Sports
(Age 4+)
Discover what it was like to be a voyageur during your own canoe voyage, relay race style! Also, you will get to play croquet and horse shoes and learn about these traditional games.
Butter & Bannock Making
(Age 4+)
Try your hand at making – and tasting – some homemade butter with your very own bannock.
Pets-de-Sœurs
(Age 7+)
Come make and taste your very own French-Canadian dessert!
Laundry Day
(Age 4+)
Doing the laundry is much more interesting when you do it with a washboard and some good ol’ elbow grease!
Quill Pen Writing
(Age 7+)
Write your name or the alphabet using a goose quill and ink, just like kids in school a hundred years ago.
Finger Weaving
(Age 10+)
Learn about the Ceinture Fléchée and make a finger woven friendship bracelet.
Embroidery
(Age 10+)
Learn about the ancient art of embroidery and make a sample to take home.
Flower Bead

Learn about the history of Métis flower beadwork!
